Rio Shield™ Primer
Fast-Cure Acrylic MMA Resin
100% reactive, acrylic resin based on methyl-methacrylate (MMA) that cures in one hour. The product’s low viscosity allows it to penetrate and reinforce concrete substrates. Applying RIO-SHIELD primer to properly prepared concrete is the first step to the installation of any RIO-SHIELD acrylic flooring system. RIO-SHIELD primer can also be applied to other substrates.
RIO-SHIELD Primer is designed to achieve a bond to concrete substrates that is greater than the strength of the concrete itself. This product can be used to seal and reinforce concrete surfaces but more often is used to anchor a RIO-SHIELD acrylic flooring system to a concrete substrate.
